What is Roto Molding or Rotational Molding?
Rotational Molding (BrE moulding) involves a heated hollow mold which is filled with a charge or shot weight of material. It is then slowly rotated (usually around two perpendicular axes) causing the softened material to disperse and stick to the walls of the mold.
Why a Roto molded Cooler?
Roto molded, or rotationally molded coolers, are far different form other coolers you may have owned in the past. These coolers are designed to last a very, very long time through their unique manufacturing process. The days of replacing handles, latches, hinges or having your cooler crack and fall apart are done when you buy a roto molded cooler. The rotationally molding process provides many advantages for a cooler such as:
- Uniform wall thickness. The rotational molding process produces a continuous uniform wall, free of imperfections.
- Tough… really, really tough. No kidding when we say these are virtually unbreakable. This is the same process used for manufacturing many things that need to be really tough such as commercial crates, commercial storage tanks and whitewater kayaks.
- Increased insulation. There are no seams or thin spots in these coolers and the insulation used provides far more insulation than traditional coolers making it possible to keep ice and things cool much longer than you thought possible.
So, once you are ready to quit throwing your money away buying disposable coolers, consider buying a roto molded cooler like the Outfitters Professional Series Cooler. It is truly an investment that will save you money in the long run.
The Outfitters Professional Series Coolers can be used for:
- Outdoor sports
- Or whatever other adventure you have in mind.
